Other Ways To Give
Donate to Our Community Closet
Donating to our Community Closet is a wonderful way to show your support! Our Community Closet is open to patients and clients here at Transhealth and any trans or gender-diverse community members. The closet features clothing, winter materials, shoes, cosmetics, accessories, and other gender-affirming apparel, all free of charge.
We are currently accepting donations of new or gently used binders, trans tape, or unused make-up. We are unable to accept any donations of clothing or shoes at this time, including shirts and sweaters. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a time to drop off your donation.
Donate a Vehicle
Turn your car, truck, recreational vehicle, boat, airplane or property into a tax deduction through Donate for Charity and support Transhealth at the same time!
Vote Transhealth for the Florence Bank Community Grant
Each year, Florence Savings Bank donates thousands of dollars to non-profit organizations in their Annual Customers’ Choice Community Grants Program, and you decide who gets the money! Vote Now!
Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are 70 ½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) can satisfy the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA while reducing your taxable income. Contact email@example.com to learn more about QCDs and other ways you can make a gift and save on taxes. Note that although we know a lot about fundraising, we are not tax experts. We recommend seeking the advice of your tax accountant or financial advisor whenever making financial planning decisions.
When you donate long-term appreciated securities to Transhealth, you can claim the full value of the gift as a charitable deduction. Gifts of securities — such as individual stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares — can benefit both you and Transhealth. A gift of securities has tax benefits that increase the value of your gift, which may allow you to make a larger gift than if you first sold the securities and then donated the net proceeds. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about giving a gift of stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares, and other ways you can make a gift and save on taxes.
