Make a Bequest or Estate Plan Gift
Through planned giving, you can create a lasting legacy that supports an affirming future for all of us.
What is a Bequest?
A bequest is a gift from your estate—a transfer of cash, securities, or other property—made through your estate plans. A bequest costs nothing now and enables you to create a lasting legacy that will positively impact Transhealth far into the future. You can make a bequest to Transhealth by including language in your will or living trust leaving a portion of your estate to Transhealth or by designating Transhealth as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy.
Designating Transhealth for Estate Planning
You can make Transhealth one of the designees in your will or estate, as the direct beneficiary of assets, a portion or percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate after other obligations have been met. We recommend that you consult with your attorney and/or financial advisor to discuss your options.
Bequeathing Real Estate to Transhealth
Real estate can have a significant impact beyond our lifetime, providing critical support for core services at Transhealth. Additionally, there may be considerable tax benefits to this giving option. Your lawyer or estate planner can help explain the advantages of this long-term giving strategy.
Designating Transhealth as a Life Insurance Beneficiary
Your HR manager or administrator of your life insurance policy can help you designate Transhealth as a beneficiary on your life insurance policy.
