It’s time to speak up for trans youth, and tell the federal government to back off.
The federal government has proposed two new rules that aim to limit access to gender-affirming care for trans youth. One rule would punish hospitals that provided trans healthcare to youth and the other would make it so Medicaid and CHIP would no longer cover this essential care for youth.
These rules that have not yet taken affect. We have 60 days (until February 17th) to speak loudly and defiantly in opposition.

YES. This is our opportunity to speak to the real-world impact of these rules and the harm they would cause. Comments pressure the federal government to address concerns raised by commenters when publishing the final versions of the rules. Comments support future lawsuits against the rules.
