Trans Day of Remembrance is a time to honor our trans siblings who have been taken from this world too soon by acts of violence. It is also a time to come together, to hold the weight of this loss, and to remember that none of us should have to carry our grief alone.

This year, in collaboration with our friends at Safe Passage and Translate Gender, we are offering a week of community events:

-Translate Gender’s Black Trans Dinner on Friday, November 13th

-All-Community Grief Gathering on Tuesday, November 17th

-QTPOC Friendsgiving on Wednesday, November 18th

-Screening of the film Kokomo City on Friday, November 20th.

We hope to foster spaces where grief and love can coexist, where tears, laughter, silence, and conversation are all welcome. Spaces to honor our trans ancestors not only in memory and grief but as active beings who shape and strengthen our community in the present.

RSVP to attend.
