Leadership team continues momentum following successful interim appointments
NORTHAMPTON, MA – The Transhealth Board of Directors announces the appointment of Jo Erwin, RN, BSN (any pronouns), as Chief Executive Officer and Celia Overby (she/her) as Chief Operating Officer. Both leaders have served in these roles on an interim basis since June 2024, guiding the organization through a year of meaningful growth and organizational stability.
Erwin, a registered nurse with extensive experience in healthcare leadership and delivery, previously served as Transhealth’s Chief Operating Officer. Overby, formerly Vice President of Operational Innovation, brings decades of expertise in nonprofit operations and systems design.
“Jo and Celia have been steady, compassionate, and intrepid leaders, quietly leading by example every step of the way,” said Perry Cohen, Chair of the Board of Directors. “They stepped into these roles at a pivotal time for the organization, and their deep commitment to Transhealth’s mission has earned the full confidence of the Board. We are thrilled to formalize their appointments as we look ahead to the next chapter.”
“It’s truly the honor of a lifetime to serve in this role – especially at such a meaningful time – and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue working with the Board, Celia, and the incredible Transhealth team,” said Jo Erwin.
