Register now for Transhealth’s DBT Skills Training Group. This support group is for trans & gender-diverse individuals 18+ who live in Massachusetts and are patients of Transhealth. The group provides tools to enhance life by building mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

- Intentionally live with awareness in the present moment
- Become more aware of external and internal experiences
- Recognize the connections and influences between people
Distress Tolerance DBT Skills can help you:
- Survive crisis situations
- Learn how to get through difficult times in life without making them worse
- Reduce harmful behavior
Emotion Regulation DBT Skills can help you
- Understand and identify your own emotions
- Increase strategies to cope with difficult emotions
- Learn how to create joy and other positive emotions
Interpersonal Effectiveness DBT Skills can help you
- Become skillful in identifying and communicating needs
- Build new and healthy relationships and end destructive relationships
- Learn how to set limits and say no
Facilitators:
Patricia Keeley, LCSW (she/her): Patty is a psychotherapist at Transhealth with a primary focus on DBT, CBT, and ACT. She has 5 years of experience teaching mindfulness & DBT, & offers both group & individual DBT skills training.
Alli Summerly (they/them): Alli is a graduate student therapist in their third year at Antioch University. Alli has a focus on trauma-informed care grounded in brave & authentic relationships. They have experience working through a relational model with teens & emerging adults in transitional mental health settings.
