TDOR Event: Honoring Trans Lives, Remembering Those Lost
Join us on Trans Day of Remembrance & Resilience, Wednesday, 11/20, from 5-8 pm at the Holyoke Senior Center. Come together for a vigil to mourn those lost and celebrate trans futures through art and performances led by trans, gender-expansive, and nonbinary youth!
At this year’s event, there will be a vigil, followed by performances by trans and gender expansive youth and adults, community resource tables, a community vegetarian food, a gallery featuring artwork created by youth from around Western MA, and space to be together as a community.
The Dyke Patrol led by Boston Dyke March will keep us safer and are trained to use protective de escalation measures.
MASK REQUIRED – Help us keep our communities safe – especially our immunocompromised friends. This is collective care! Masks generously provided by Western MA Mask Block.
Organized by Translate Gender in collaboration with House of Colors and sponsored by Amherst QRC and Transhealth.
This is a sacred community space – Help us honor this space. No transphobia, hate speech, or bias will be permitted.
