Team brings decades of operational experience in health care delivery
WESTERN, MASSACHUSETTS – The Transhealth Board of Directors announces the appointment of Joan Erwin, RN, BSN (any pronouns) as interim CEO and Celia Overby (she/her) as interim COO. A registered nurse, Erwin brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership and delivery having served as the organization’s COO as well as in senior roles in three major healthcare organizations before joining Transhealth. Previously the organization’s VP of Operational Innovation, Overby brings decades of experience in operations and non-profit management.
“We are very fortunate to have Joan Erwin and Celia Overby at the helm to move the organization forward given their wealth of experience as leaders in the healthcare and non-profit sectors,” said Perry Cohen, Chair of the Board of Directors.

Erwin and Overby’s appointments follow the departure of founding CEO and President Dallas Ducar, MSN, APRN (she/her). “We are deeply grateful for Dallas’ vision and leadership and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” said Cohen. “As founding CEO, Dallas impacted thousands through the delivery of essential healthcare, community support, education, research, and advocacy.”
